Humanoid Robot
Construction Games

New York City · 2027

16-bit arcade robot laying bricks

The Humanoid Robot Construction Games are an inaugural competition for humanoid robots performing construction tasks. Developers, researchers, and builders will come together to put these machines to work on five challenges drawn from the trades.

Imagine a construction site where robots work alongside skilled people. Machines that can use the tools we already have, handle the materials we already build with, and take on work that is repetitive, physically demanding, or hard to staff.

That future could change what we can afford to build. More homes. Better buildings. High-quality construction within reach of more people. Getting there means turning promising demonstrations into dependable work.

The Games are a place to see that progress up close. A straight course of brick. A precisely positioned panel. A connection that holds. Meet the teams building these capabilities and the construction professionals who know what the job requires.

The event aims to bring together people working in AI and robotics, builders and developers, architects and urbanists, and policymakers thinking about housing, infrastructure, and the future of work. Alongside the competition, it will be a place to exchange ideas about what these technologies could make possible: how we build, what it costs, and how our cities grow and change.

Five challenges

Teams

For humanoid developers, research labs, and university teams, the Games are an opportunity to show what your platform can build in front of the people who could put it to work. Bring your capabilities into a practical setting, exchange ideas with builders, and help define the next generation of construction robotics. Tell us about your robot, the challenges it can attempt, and what you would need to take part.
